[Princess Auto] Snow Joe 2-stage 100V snowblower with 2 batteries - 1299$

Cheapest 2-stager I have seen so far.
Comes with 2 x 5Ah batteries.
No idea if it's any good, but it looks legit!

I have the stage 1 100 volt version of this. They don't manufacture any of the parts anymore including the battery or have any in stock, if you submit a warranty claim. They did offer me a website credit, if you cannot return to store.

I'm not sure if this applies to stage 2 parts, but you wouldn't be able to get a replacement battery from Snow Joe if there was an issue.

I have an 80v two stage from snow joe. I would not drop this kind of money on another one of their products.

Its surplus, they don't make these anymore good luck with getting parts. It's a throw away toy.

If you don't need a two-stage snowblower with that much power save yourself $1000, check out Walmart.ca they have a Snow Joe 40 volt one stage 18 in snowblower for $350. I've had mine since Dec 2018, no issues and it works for me on the snow in the Golden Horseshoe, (50' x 10' driveway plus sidewalks) Heads up though, single stage snow blowers will not handle heavy wet slush snow. YMMV

I'd trade it all for a little more.

I have this. It struggles very often in the Montreal weather. A stronger model is needed IMO.

I can't understand how people are using it. Unless good reviews are coming from places where snow is super dry and hence light.
For me it was a waste of time.

Yeah I guess it's all YMMV, I'm in the Golden Horseshoe, I've used this Snow Joe 40V snow thrower 8 to 10 times a year for the past 4 years on snow falls greater than 2" with no problems. If it plugs up on you with packing snow try coating the chute, impeller and impeller casing interior with some automotive ceramic spray wax. No single stage machine will throw wet slushy snow.

I get more use out of this little machine than my neighbours with their behemoth gas-powered monsters but they do make quick work of the windrows so I help them out on the sidewalks 👍🏻
.

I'd trade it all for a little more.
