This tool can be used to bleed your brake fluid without needing a second person as a helper, or to test some other components of the vehicle. It's similar to the tool used in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OArwtcBaeLE

I haven't seen it on sale often at PA, and this is a good discount so I thought I'd post it here (after I ordered one for myself :razz :) .

I have one and it works well to bleed my hydraulic clutch too. Good deal.

Mine was a complete fail. I think it took longer than pumping the pedal by myself. I ended up getting a Motive bleeder.

thanked the OP...this is exactly what I need...bought the regular bleeder kit but this negates the need to drag someone to pump the pedals

I had one as well, complete garbage. The nipples didn't seal properly, no matter what aids I used, making the unit useless as it won't hold a vacuum. (Yes it is this exact model)

I use the motive bleeder. It works great, it was a lot more than $25.

I don't know why I bought this. I normally use tubing and a water bottle. But this will save me from pumping the brake, and PA has a great return policy...!

one way valve for aquariums from petsmart for 2.50 and a sealed jar and you can 1 man the bleed easily.

Same item. Could never get it to seal properly. I still have it, used it to try and calibrate a map sensor, but the gauge face is bent so I can't get a proper vacuum reading.

This can likely be used additionally to start a fuel siphon many people have been asking for.

I have this, and it is good sometimes. Ok for bleeding brakes, but will not be good to exchange brake fluid. Also impossible to not use pedal method after a caliper change as there is too much air in the system.

But it saved me once when I needed to pump excess oil out through the dipstick tube because it was over filled.

not sure ya wanna use a drill operated pump, ever look in the little vents at the back of the drill and see those blue sparks, probably not a good thing to have around fuel vapors

Just don't rely on PA's product reviews. I can tell you they can make negative ones disappear ... as did one of mine when the item broke on first use.
