They were a good VPN when I used them a few years back.
You should mention that 59.95 is US currency - be close to $80.00 cdn

Are you kidding me, I just bought 2 years at full price like 2 or 3 days ago, feelsbmadman

Edit: Actually it's only like $10 bucks difference over two years, something like 40 cents a month, doesn't feeltoobadman now

I mentioned this in another thread, but would anyone want to do a community funded VPN?

We could start with one VPS (around $5-$10 per month) (I could open it up using Bitcoin) and users would connect to it using OpenVPN.

We'd then start scaling up as more users want to join in.

I've been using PIA since their last promo. Not too bad. Occasional slow servers but then you just switch to a different one. I originally got it when I had US Amazon Prime Video but eventually they blocked a number of the US servers. Haven't tried since. But I use the same account on my phone and iPad. very easy to use.

And who's going to be the lead on this, the guy who assumes 100% of the risk? All the users will demand no logging, but of course someone has to pay for the services, and that person alone bares the risk.

How does PIA compare to IPVanish? My vanish account is up soon and the price is ridiculous to renew. I use it for an Android (mi) box and haven’t tried any others to compare to. I did attempt Nordvpn, but trying to get it installed on the mi box was too much. Others like expressvpn or ipvanish are on the play store on the box so they do integrate well.

I use them. It looks like the servers in the US are not working anymore. When I choose a US server and google "where am I" it points to South Korea. Actually I'm thinking about finding another VPN with real US IPs.

Anyone have any thoughts about the importance of a Canada-based VPN? Are there any even comparable ones to the top choices?
