I just got a PS5 and in the end I didn't have to drop $734. I don't even use my avion anymore I only use my platinum amex as much as possible. But whatever to each their own! I'm sure at least one other person was happy they didn't have to spend any cash on a PS5. Goodluck !
Glad you are happy. Other people can see it as a bad redemption value and / or it is like spending cash (since the points could have been spent on other things that would have been purchased with cash).

This is a bad deal as you recently you could redeem for other gift cards at a value of. 1.42x.

This deal barely values each point at 1 cent per point.

Might as well say "Sign up for new CC with 10% cash back, get new PS5 for $450"

And we used to be able to get 50% more Avios for avion but that's gone now too. If you want to save money right now this will help.

It is free money if you actually damn well know what you are doing with rewards programs. You still shop wisely and the bonus is you are getting points for things you need most of the time and at a good price. It can be done if you can believe it.

To @series1000 glad you are happy with your deal and thanks for sharing the info.
