PSA...31 Jan is the last day of sales for MS Windows 10

Yep, official sales ends today for windows 10, but it will still be available for download of course elsewhere on the Web.
I finally updated all the home PCs to Win 11 last night.

Where are you reading this?

Windows 10 support ends in 2025.

Today is the last day MS will sell win10 on its website, but physical and digital licenses will still be sold elsewhere for quite some time.

Thank you for this. Thought I had missed some news entirely.

I'll have support longer than Windows 11.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

they will extend support. Remember, the idea is to prevent other OS's from taking market share from Microsoft. Forcing users off Win 10 for Win 11, when their hardware remains fast enough isnt going fulfill that objective.

Support will be extended for years to come.

Legitimately? No.
Illegitimately? They haven't patched it yet so I doubt they ever will. GIthub (ie owned by Microsoft) hosts the tools to activate Windows illegitimately.

Especially with the fact that Windows 11 needs a minimum CPU that's higher than what a lot of people have.
