PSA TD Home Insurance FIRST Page of Renewal does not include total with TAX

Ontario - ESPECIALLY SENIORS BEWARE TD has changed the look of their policy renewal.

The first page total does NOT include the taxes. They have conveniently buried it on PAGE 9. Which does mention that late fees carry a $25 penalty.
All of my other bills include the total payable on the first page.

There is no banking cartel member that screws people over with fees than TD.. imho

We have TD insurance for home and I don't recall there being tax charged. That is why I ask. What kind of tax are you being charged? Perhaps whether the tax is charged varies by province?

It depends on the type of insurance and the province, though there is no federal sales tax on home and auto insurance premiums.

Ontario, for example, charges the provincial portion of the HST (8%) on home insurance premiums, but not on auto insurance premiums.
