[PSN Malaysia] Mafia II: Definitive Edition for PS4 (FREE)

What's with these region locked posts.

This is actually a price error. Mafia II Definitive Edition released today on PS4 and XB1 at $39.99 CAD.

If you already bought the old PC Steam version of Mafia II, it upgrades for free to the Definitive Edition if you click on the links from
the Mafia II Definitive Edition from the Steam store.

Upgrade for PC version: (you have to manually do it)

Why so many downvotes? This is not only a deal for Malaysians. You can easily create a Malaysian account on PSN in 5 minutes and get the game for free. This happened with Knack 2 a few years ago and Sony never reversed the purchases.

PS4 isn't region locked.

1. Create a Malaysian account.
2. Download the game.
3. Log back into your real account.
4. Play the game.

I did all of this on my PS4 twenty minutes ago.

The only purpose your Malaysian account will serve is for download and redownloading.

"You are not eligible to purchase or download this content."

Could not "purchase" it with new Malaysian account...

Same here, I'm getting "You are not eligible to purchase or download this content." after trying to add to cart with a new account.

Good to know it's dead before I need to come up with a Malaysian name. Last time I found out Knack was expired after I got a German account

I am curious if Sony would ever remove this game from people who claimed it for free.

I know these sorts of price errors have occurred in the past but I don't know what the outcome was.
