Darn Firewatch is not on this list! I refuse to pay $27.99, can get the PC game cheaper but my PC does not have a good graphics card. Oh well

That list is TOO big, it's daunting to even try and find a deal on something interesting.

Yup. a list with metacritic scores would help.

It's crazy how it never goes on sale. Last sale was in 2018, and they even raised the price at the start of 2020. Blows my mind.

Highly recommend CrossCode. You can play a free demo on PC. Very inspired by Secret of Mana. Good story, puzzles, and soundtrack, plenty of challenge.

For those that needs some suggestions, based on what I've played/completed and enjoyed.

Children of Morta - great game if you're into the roguelike/lite genre with action/adventure gameplay. It is/was on Xbox GamePass if you have that.
Crypt of the Necrodancer - it is the game that came before Cadence of Hyrule if you enjoyed that. Roguelike rhythm game.
Dead Cells - roguelite in the action/platformer gameplay genre.
Downwell - really hard, but a lot of fun. You're going down a well with 'gunboots' I guess for lack of a better term. As you go down the well, you encounter enemies that you can land on to kill or shoot. There are gems for currency that you get to upgrade your items in shops. Upgrades after bosses.
Enter the Gungeon - roguelite where you go into a 'gungeon' with crazy amounts of weapon/upgrades for a lot of fun possibilities. Similar to Binding of Isaac, but less creepy/weird.
Furi - if you're into 2d/top-down action games, but you only like bosses, this is for you. It's a boss-rush game where you only fight bosses.
Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition - fun metroidvania with a Mexican style/background.
Guacamelee 2 - fun metroidvania with a Mexican style/background.
Hollow Knight - very well regarded metroidvania where you are an ant/beetle? with a needle wandering around the underground/world.
Limbo and Inside Bundle - 2d puzzle/platformer game. It is very dark in nature.
Lonely Mountains: Downhill - played this on GamePass as well. Fun 'Trials' but on a bike game. You're trying to go down the mountain as quick as possible.
Minit - really enjoyed this one. It's like the old 2D Zelda games (top-down action game), but you only have 1 minute to accomplish a task/goal. Once the 1 minute is up, you start at the beginning again but hopefully you have unlocked some parts to continue further.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom - metroidvania game where your main character can transform into other ones for their unique abilities. Very beautiful looking game.
Moonlighter - it was a bit long for me (got bored), you wander down into some underground world where you explore, kill enemies, find items, and try to sell them at your shop when you die, to level up, getting better equipment, to explore further.
Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate - I really enjoyed these when they came out. Dual-stick shooter where you're a ship and shooting aliens. There's a bit of a story to it. It is with designed levels, not high-score chasing.
Punch Club - oh man, this was a fun one on my phone. Boxing management game, you 'train' your boxer, you need to balance the aspects of if you want your boxer to be strength/agile and I forget what the last type is. You need to 'work' to earn money to buy stuff and you enter matches with winnings. And there's random throwbacks (weird Ninja turtles order pizza from you).
Slay the Spire - this is one of the most recent roguelike deckbuilders that has defined the genre. It is on Xbox GamePass if I remember correctly.
Steamworld Dig / Dig 2 - reminds me of Mr Driller but if there was a town. You're digging down to find gems, open new areas, with the gems, you upgrade your abilties. Fun games but they can be really short (there are trophies/achievements for beating them really quickly).
Steamworld Heist - tactical game in the Steamworld universe (at least the art style)
The Sexy Brutale - a 'Clue' top-down game where a murder happens and you're trying to find out what happened. I really enjoyed this one, rather not spoil too much.

I use PS Prices to find the best deals. I sorted it by lowest price to highest price, but they have many filters you can use like sort by highest discount to lowest discount. It's a lot easier than clicking on every single title in a long list. It also has a graph for each game showing if it's the lowest price ever.

Since most sales begin on Wednesday I always look at the Australian Playstation Store (via PSPrices) on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning in AUS) to get a glimpse of what the next sale is going to be. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

Disclaimer: all the titles on sale on the AUS store don't necessarily carry over to being on sale on the CA store and vice versa (mostly the same titles though) but the theme of the sale is always the same just to give you an idea of what to expect the next day over here.

I enjoyed Guacamelee 1 a lot, but haven't tried Guacamelee 2 yet, I will pay the $6!

The new playstation store sucks.
That's 30 minutes away, I'll be there in 10.

I agree, it's not user friendly, I miss the old store layout and the ability to add to wishlist directly and sorting.

I've had it on my radar for a while now...and you're right. Still waiting for it to maybe hit PS+ or at least a decent sale.
