I’d pay $9.99 max, I don’t have a PS4, however I did buy NBA 2k19 since the Raps were HOT this year. If the Leafs won the cup I’d consider paying $13+. Waiting for PS5 and GTA 6.

I haven't bought a new copy of NHL since NHL 14 (skipped 15 cuz I didn't have PS4 at the time) and I don't play HUT. Always seems worth it to me IMO if I'm a year behind on an edition considering not much changes to the gameplay.
I agree, it is not bad if you are a year behind in sport games. For the past few years, I have been getting FIFA a year behind coz it doesn't really make a huge differences for me, especially when it comes to roster and stuff. However, NHL is a bit different for me, I love the EASHL mode and about 6 of us play together every year... and for NHL 19, we all decided to not buy it.

I think the title is perfect and the SCORE of this thread reflects it.

I guess I thought about it too much and the irony of the statement is lost on almost everyone here.

It satisfies the genre of the game.
It satisfies the haters of the price
It satisfies the lovers of the game.

I don't see how I could have picked a better one

How about not using any reference to temperature. It serves no purpose as votes dictate the deal status.
All they do is cloud and clog the system. Most claims are bogus so it's wasted text that does not belong in the title.

Got FIFA 18 digital when it was on sale (I think $12?) for FIFA World Cup. Waiting for FIFA 19 to go as low as it could go (new or pre-owned) for UCL feature.

Considering I don't play online, I have no issues with being a year or two behind for NHL or FIFA

Well, you could also misinterpret it as being very hot indeed (which melts ice). The melting of the ice is just an oxymoron.
