[Archambault] PSP Go 99.99 at Archambault.ca

More offers from Archambault
I'm not sure if this is a boxing week sale as I couldn't find a flyer on the website(tried to subscribe to enewsletter but they haven't sent anything), so I'll just post it under hot deals.

looks pretty legit, although i've never heard of it. In the faqs it states:
With 15 stores and nearly 1,000 employees, Archambault, a Quebecor Media company, is the largest record store, the bookstore with the highest growth and widest selection of books, and the leading musical instrument and score retailer?in Québec

It is a real store. It's kind of a small version of HMV.

It is $149.99 in Sony Store. It will be $99.99 after $50 coupon if you have bought one.

I started to list prices for you, then I realized that this is a PSP Go. The only game deals you will be getting are the ones on the PSN store. This is the only way to get games for this system in a legal fashion (which I recommend, SUPPORT DEVELOPERS PEOPLE!!!!). I got a PSP 3000 in the summer (GT Bundle for 99.99 (Rogers Plus 50% off), which gives the best of both worlds (you can buy UMD's in store and purchase items on the PSN).

So, check the PSN BLOG every Tuesday evening to see the store updates for deals on PSP games.

For everyone else that orders this: Note that there is a 10-12 day shipping delay at Archambault. I ordered Nier (360) and MGS: Peace Walker (PSP) on December 19th, and the order is still on hold. So patience is required. Still, I think this is a decent deal, but being tethered to the PSN Store is disheartening.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention that stores sell 'voucher codes' to use on PSN. However, these tend to be highly overpriced. I have repeatedly seen God of War: Chains of Olympus at 19.99 UMD and 39.99 for the voucher at Best Buy.

Damn i Kind of want one, but to be honest I don't even know if this thing is any good. Even at $100 is it worth it?

edit: I was going to buy a sony 8gb mp3 player for $100, but shouldn't I just get this and get a lot more? I mean the only difference would be battery life.

I was thinking of pulling the trigger, but then I realized that one of the PSP games I'm most interested in, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, is not available through PSN, and will probably never be. So if I want to play it, I need a PSP 3000. The PSP Go is a sleek little device, but unfortunately it can't play all PSP games.
