This offer serves its purpose for people who normally only rely on home wifi and can bring their current phone...otherwise, they only have older CPO phones at meh prices...

Thanks for letting people know what’s out there. If you see I said 23$ and I also said Lifetime I’m not sure if this it. I really feel like something is off with this though

They use the Telus network and Telus shares towers with Bell

With a 3 GB quota, that is a feature. The throttle is high enough that no one actually cares about the throttle, and those that would, would complain about the 3 GB quota even more. A non issue that keeps on being brought up.

Plus, seems to have no asterisk (*) indicating a disclaimer on the signs. More like “red flags” than “RedFlagDeals”

Best bet is that it's not a "special" deal, just the existing extra 2GB for 12 months offer paired with the 500+500MB that's been around for quite a while.

As far as PM goes.... my better half has had the 500+500 plan for 2 years so is currently @ $21 / 30 day ($1 loyalty bonus /year capped @ $5). It's perfect for somebody who only needs data for checking email and/or google maps or weather apps. Coverage is on the Bellus network and doesn't appear to be downgraded in any aspect other than the throttled LTE which really shouldn't matter for anybody who's OK with 1GB data / month.

We were public mobile for a few years but back last year in manitoba they shut down some towers that public mobile and some prepaid koodo uses and service went to crap in my rural area.
We switched 2 of the 3 lines out to fido and service is better but then we are paying $20 month more. Yes we get extra 15gb data but we dont need it lol.

There is no more autopay bonus so the shop is clearly lying to get business for people that don't know about it.

Yea lol before even though public is throttled it made up for it due to all its loyalty offers and bonuses, and customer specials with all the changes irs at the bottom

Indeed it’s sketchy even for me lol, you need to do some research buddy no more auto pay or the og loyalty offers

That could be a possibility but even so on the other hand it might as well not be auto pay besides if anything is wrong you can leave
