Thanks, it appears they added some more add ons. $5 for 500 canada wide minutes is great for those looking to add to the budget plans. Way better than the $15 400min Can/US if using only as extra local minutes. The $8 10day US roaming talk sounds decent to.

Can u by more than one add-on? $10 for 1000 minutes? Or $15 for 1500 min?

Is this a time limited add on deal

Yes you have to tell the system how many you want at the time of purchase ... but why would you want more than one? If you are talking that much you should be on another plan.

That is correct. It will come from your credits first.

I'm currently on a plan with unlimited minutes. Does anyone know if I can purchase additional minutes for future months when I downgrade my plan to say the $10/month plan?

Yes, you can. PM add ons for talk minutes or data do not expire and unused portions roll over to next month.

Thx. Not sure how often these $5 for 500 minutes deals happens...if this is a "I've never seen it so cheap" might be good to buy more than one $5 "deal". I'm actually on the $15 unlimited texting, 50 (or 100 talk) free incoming plans so "just in case" for $5 for 500 seems really good after all we spend $5 really easy these days so what's another $5.

PM add-on page is not updated with this $5/500 minutes add-on. You will not see this add-on if you are not a PM subscriber.

$10($8 with autopay) 50/50 plan + $5/500 CW minutes add-on is better than 7-11 Speakout $0.3/minute + $1.25/m fix charge.
If you are using more than 23 minutes/m at SO, you are spending more than $8/m at SO. It is time to consider PM.
Speakout = 23 min x $.30/min + $1.25 monthly fixed charge = $8.15/m.
PM $8 50/50 = $8 for 50 minutes/m
Do your calculation for your usage.

PM is prepaid and no refund if you leave PM. Therefore, don't lock yourself to a virtual contract by purchasing too many $5/500 min add-on.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $36 5GB, $12 250MB, 2x $7 50min/50text, Fido $5 4GB data only plan with a free tablet,
Zoomer $36 loyalty 4GB plan, $0 FPL home phone. Have a better and better day!

Darn it, both of the lines we have at Public Mobile already have the $15 400 minute addon, since we both will exceed but not by a huge margin usually..

Maybe I’ll buy the $5 500 Canada-wide calling once I get closer to using those up (and save a bit for actual international calling).

Does the new addon have an expiry before the offer ends?
