Can anyone who lives in rural areas comment on the service they get with PM? I tend to golf quite a bit in the summers but can't ever get signal with freedom so I'm wondering if PM would be any different, thanks!

Public Mobile runs on the Telus network, so excellent coverage. It blows Freedom out of the water.

+1

I used to be on PM and as kreggem mentioned, it runs on the Telus network (which is also shared with Bell).

I am on P.M's $25 plan with around $10 credits for referring friends and get 2Gb data. Is Zoomed similarly priced ?

The phone isn't free, after 24 months, the plan stays the same price. Free would be after 24 months, it would be with no more tab.

Looked on public mobile's site - don't see the promo anywhere for bonus 2 gigs of data. Link?

Its not a tab- its a subsidized phone like the good old days. After the 2 years, leave and take a new one.

Ahh, the good old days.

Unfortunately, the phone selection is bad.

Yes, but to ensure there are no issues with the self serve account, I would recommend using a different e-mail address for sign up this time. You'll lose any accummulated Public Mobile rewards.
