New Autopay Plans. From $15 to $50/$60 less Autopay discount

Deal Link:
Retailer:
Public Mobile
A few new plans have popped up on Public Mobile - There are other plans as well as "Build your own" but these are the featured plans:

Basically more data on a few existing plans
Prices do not include autopay ($2)
All plans include unlimited CdaWide calling and intl MMS text except where noted
$15 100mins CdaWide outgoing, unlimited incoming (new), 250MB data if autopay.
$25 1.0GB **
$35 1.5GB **
$40 5.0GB **
$50 8.5 GB ** (also includes unl calling to USA) thanks @heymcfly

*NEW Roaming plan*
$60 8.5GB*** in Cda and 2GB in USA. Unl calling to US and Cda and unl roaming while in USA.

** Plans require auto-pay enabled to get this data, otherwise subtract 500MB with no autopay - Note: PM may be ignoring this requirement and just giving the bonus data, but I would suggest Auto-pay just for the $2 credit alone.

Also on the low end, other plans
$10 regular plan, 50mins CdaWide, unl incoming text, 50 outgoing, no data

All plans are $2 less as an Autopay credit. I have kept the full price visible because that is what you will see when you sign up.
All plans are prepaid and eligible for loyalty credit. After each year with PM, you will receive $1 credit per 30days, up to a max of $5 (5yrs)
Available for both new and existing customers.

The purpose of this thread will be to discuss popular ongoing Public Mobile plans and available add-ons. Short term promos can be discussed in their owns threads as they are announced. I will keep plan changes updated in the OP and we can reference promos in the thread summary

And, of course, discussion of trying to get referrals, even indirectly, is forbidden and will be reported. Thank you.

If we're on the $40 4.5GB plan do we need to do anything to switch to 5GB? Thanks!

Yes, you do need to switch plans yourself. It will not happen automatically. Just go into the self serve and complete the plan change. Make sure you select the option to change on the next renewal and not immediately. I just did the changes on my affected accounts.

They might, during October they had free sim + free second month promo. Odds could be that they willl do something similar for Black Friday.

thanks OP was looking for something like this. Im usually under 1gb but the odd time 1.2gb a month so this 1.5gb plan for $35 is perfect.

Personally I wish the low end plan was either $30 1.5GB or $35 2GB. But given PMs track record, I wouldn't be surprised if the $35 plan was eventually bumped to 2GB

Honestly what is this 3G speed nonsense. This is the only thing i am disappointed about as someone on the 4/40 deal. It seems ridiculous to me that they downgraded their speed.
