Public Service Announcement:
PM does not have a call center. Supports are provided by PM Community Forum. Moderator wait time is 2 - 3 days. Therefore, you may be out of phone service 2 or more days. With this in mind, if you are running a business or your job depending on a working phone. PM is not for you. Do your research. Ask questions before activation. Don't complain after activation because of the 2 - 3 days wait time for the moderator.

BTW, PM is prepaid service provider. There is no refund if you change your mind 1 days after activation.

Don't get me wrong. I like PM plans. I just want everyone to do their research to determine yourself whether PM is for you or not.
Ask if you have question.

If you need more than 5GB data, you may consider the $50 8.5GB data plan.

This promotion seems rather redundant considering the RBC deal is still on until end of the month and the $10 discount is for 6 months. Anyone wanting to sign up should give this one a pass and look for the RBC deal instead.

Just in case people don't know, the use of an RBC card is not required. Just use the promo code.

The only advantage of this weekend's promo being able to sign up both in-store or online. The RBCREWARDS promo is better in every other way, but it's online only. That promo is ending soon, so new customers need to make sure that the sim card is active before the deadline.

Can I purchase Sim in store and activate online to get this RBC offer? Or I have to order Sim online too? Thanks

It doesn't matter where you get the sim card, but some stores won't sell you the sim card to take home and activate. The sim card must be activated by the promo end deadline. Simply ordering a sim before a promo ends is not enough.

The RBC deal doesn't end for another 10 days so it should be possible to order online and activate on time.

Yes, it is possible, but it might be cutting it a little close for those in some places in the country. Public Mobile has sim cards shipped out of Mississauga, Ontario using Canada Post Xpresspost. Xpresspost is 1 to 2 business day delivery time, but only to major cities. Add one more business day slightly outside of urban areas, and delivery by Xpresspsost to very rural areas is quoted as taking as long as up to 7 business days. I would suggest that for any going this route to order the sim cards this weekend. Otherwise, you'll have to find a retail location who will sell a sim card outright, or there are some sellers on ebay or Kijiji who would be willing to provide sim card details ahead of time to ensure in-time activation for the promotion.

Is anyone else surprised to see PM still in business? A year ago every thread on here was filled with people predicting Telus folding these guys into Koodo.
