As with any of the advertised plans, Public Mobile could change them whenever they please. That doesn't necessarily mean that they will.

If you text a lot, you might want to upgrade to $25 plan for unlimited talk and text with 1GB. If she doesn't text much but talk more, you can consider add on 400 min for $15 and she can use it whenever she goes past 50 min. The other option is $15 100 min talk and unlimited text and addon 400 min for $15 if she goes over 100 min/month

I think that you meant "talk" a lot, instead of text. This plan has unlimited text, limited talk of 100 minutes per month (incoming and outgoing).

Yes, you can port another number over. Either upon activation of new account or afterwards via self service account.

You can. You just need to provide your cell number and account number I believe. Porting is fairly quick from my experience.

Yes, you can, basically, you can port from any provider.
I always recommend to create a new number first and then verify everything works.
After that, the final step is to port your existing number to the new provider.
If you are coming from Telus/Koodo, it's recommended to do it this way as well.

waiting on getting spinning circles and "error has occured, please log in again" messages.

I will try again later tonight, hopefully it will be better.

Trying to login to get this. I thought the $25 plan was perfect, but this is even more perfect. $9/mo now, my phonebill is almost not there. Even if I commonly go over on minutes, I can eat up the $15 400min booster every 2 months and still come out cheaper.

Were you around for Fall Promo 2016? The activation system was a hit or miss as to whether it would work towards the ends of that promotion. It was so slow it wasn't funny. At the very least, Public Mobile this time has many new Community moderators now, so hopefully that means that customer service/support response time will be better this time around.
