Does PM have these Quebec only promos often? Or can we expect this to be offered outside of Quebec soon based on recent public mobile promos?

It is not on PM site yet.

To my knowledge, Public Mobile has never done regiional pricing before since being taken over by Telus. This is a first.

I haven't tried that yet, but my guess would be that you can. Just like with Koodo or Telus.

Since PM is prepaid and there is no credit check get your address. You can use any name or address. PM will not care and they do not verify where you live. Some people get a AB phone number during activation to pay GST only for the first 30 days payment. Then, port a QC number to PM. Don't try this trick with this promo.

You will not get this promo if you use AB area code during activation. PM uses area code to apply promo credit. You may continue to keep your promo by changing your area code before your first renewal date. YMMV depending on reading the promo details tomorrow.

This is a first of PM starting promos for one region only, usually their promos are country wide.

Really disappointed on the direction PM has been for a while now

They will not tell you it is based on your address or area code of your phone number. No one knows how they will determine. If you were really from QC, chances are you would use QC address and phone number. Considering PM did not do region based promos before, i guess they will take it lightly.

For over a year now, PM promo does not applied promo to current subscribers. Koodo and PM are part of Telus. It does not surprise me if PM is using the provincial only trick similar to Koodo.

The promotion is offered on the activation website. You just select the $35 plan and the price will show as $30 with an additional 500MB mentioned during the payment step if you are in Quebec. If you're not in Quebec, only the additional 500MB shows (but not the $5 off).
