3GB recurring data bonus will be applied to eligible rate plans ($35 1.5GB, $40 2.5GB & $45 4.5GB Ready made plans only).

This offer is only available to new customers porting-in from Bell, Virgin and Lucky Mobile.

Bonus data will expire if account becomes inactive or the rate plan is changed.

This 3GB data bonus pairs with the $35, $40, and $45 plans, yielding 4.5GB total for $35 plan, 5.5GB total for $40 plan and 7.5GB total for $45 plan. All plans will come with unlimited Canada wide calling and unlimited international text. The various rewards stack to reduce the base monthly fee.

You need to go all the way to the $35 plan to get the extra data. $35 for 4.5GB is a pretty good deal.

After concerted effort by big-3 to raise mobile price, is this how the big-3 use to avoid the price fixing scheme?
With this promo, Telus is creating competing environment for other two providers to have similar promo to steal each other's subscribers.

Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $36 5GB, $12 250MB, 2x $6 50min/50text, Fido $5 4GB data only plan with a free tablet,
Zoomer $36 loyalty 4GB plan, $0 FPL home phone.

Looks like an awesome deal but it's not. If Koodo can do $48/8gb or $40/6gb, they can do better deals than that for PM.

They could do 100 GB for $40 too like in almost every other country on earth. The reason why they don't lies in one word: oligopoly.

They only specify the carrier not the type of account with the competing brands. They have no way of checking account details anyway. So you should be good with either a prepaid or postpaid port in.

You get a little bit more data, 5.5GB vs 5GB. I think the really good deal is the $35 plan with 4.5GB.

I think it has to do with the fact that Chatr was first to raise prices/reduce data usage. Public Mobile followed like a sheep. Lucky Mobile didn't follow and so Public Mobile is pissed and this is their revenge.
