Purchasing new Mazda3 or Honda Civic on AMEX platinum card

I'm in the market for a new car (25-30k all-in) and have narrowed down the options to either the Mazda 3 or Honda Civic.
I prefer the full purchase on my AMEX platinum card to earn reward points, rather than transferring cash directly.
Does anyone know of Mazda/Honda dealerships in the GTA that permit this, after negotiating a cash discount?

See below reference for a US based person who did just that.

TBD
I haven't come across a dealership that allows for more than $5,000 to be paid via CC. Even $5,000 isn't that common in my experience.

I haven’t heard of any dealership willing to take CC as the payment method.

I'm sure some dealer will, but they're going to tack on another 5% to cover their costs.

Perhaps they'd let if you pay sticker.

I haven't seen a single dealer that will let you pay the full price on credit. Partial $3,000 - $5,000 is possible.

Also, if you can wait a bit, the all new 2019 Mazda3 with next gen SkyactivX engine will be announced at the LA autoshow in November for probably a March release. If you don't want to take the chance on a 1st year brand new model though, the 2018s will probably drop a good chunk in price.

My local Honda dealer has it limited to $2500, and my local Mazda to $500.
Like other posters have said, I reckon they will allow it if there is sufficient margin in the deal (2-5% extra perhaps? but just speculation).
