FYI: While it doesn’t log user activity (what sites people visit or content they download), it does log the IP addresses that customers use to access the PureVPN service along with timestamps.

Coupon code is FPDRFLAT2911 for those who don't want to install Honey.

Didn't they revamp their privacy policy and get audited to prove that they do not?

I also received this deal in my promo tab on Gmail. I did some Googling and apparently you can get a similar deal at all times? I found this one for example and it was posted on here before. Still seems active.

I'm not getting the 2$/year thing with Honey. FPDRFLAT2911 is invalid and so are the other ones trying to be applied. Anyone else?

Edit : Nvm, I'm in Japan now so that's why it wasn't working. Switched server to Canada and was able to use the coupon and proceed. Thanks OP!! Worth giving these guys a shot at this price for sure. I was about to pay for ProtonVPN but this might be sufficient, we'll see.

I got the same as OP $2 with the honey app running its codes....... is this worth it? Reviews seem mixed but for $2 even it works for accessing geo blocked sites..... idk

If you're trying to use Honey click "activate" first then close the Honey popout and click the Honey extension again then it will show "Apply Coupon". Worked for me, thanks OP!

VPNs racing to the bottom like this can't be good for performance and longevity.

You get what you pay for.

I already have a VPN that I don't really use (comes with my Usenet subscription) but still bought this. Couldn't resist cause it's too cheap.

For those who care I did a speed test on the default streaming mode and I got around 55Mbps download and the upload speed is at least 15Mbps (my internet is the bottleneck for the upload speed).

Also I the website says the plan will renew annually but it doesn't say how much I'll be charged. I would probably assume the extra discount doesn't apply when renewing.

EDIT: Price is only for one year. It will renew at $69.95 USD. You can cancel after signing up though.

My experience with purevpn has been garbage. Frequent disconnects. Got a lifetime plan through stacksocial, regretting it ever since.

If you want reliability, roll your own VPN

Yup I realized this after I posted. When I try to pay with PayPal it says that after the first year it is $69.95 USD per year.
