Hit "Enter" instead of clicking "Apply" (counter-intuitive).
My page doesn't look like OP's screenshot. There is no "Have coupon code?" below the total line - so I can't manually enter the coupon code.

Confirmed. The page has changed. Maybe the deal is over.

VPNs are funny...everyone's got a negative comment about every provider out there except for their own which they claim is the best.
Guess it boils down to whatever fits your budget and suits your needs

same here. it shows 2.02 , but paypal shows 11.88$

Anyone seeing $0.99/mo for 5 years deal? Not sure if it's great deal.

That was/is their standard BF/CB deal.

Yeah, but paid in advance...
5 years is a loooooong time away.
Where will that company be in 3-4-5 years if their customers pay $1 USD per month?
i.e. is that model sustainable.

Be cautioned if you plan to use VPN in China.

I’m in China curently and Pure VPN does not work at all. The same with NordVPN, Expressvpn. Used premium trials of these

Windscribe is the only one that works reliably for me, I’m using their free 15gb. VPNunlimited works sometimes as well, but very slow

It’s not bad but as mentioned 5 yrs commitment means 60 USD up front, is a lot riskier than $2 for a year!

If you want reliability, roll your own VPN

I've been using NordVPN in China for years, mostly in Guangzhou province and as recent as last month without issues.

I’m in Xiamen right now, and Nordvpn does not work here. I noticed all VPNs work when I was transiting at Guangzhou airport, so maybe Greatfirewall works differently in Guangzhou. But my data points are very limited, apparently
