Putting a car on the company name - Tax Benefits?

I was looking to upgrade my vehicle and was thinking of putting it on my Corporation name.

Here are some details I can think of:

$45K to $50K vehicle
25% work related driving
Monthly payment approx. $650
Personal tax bracket is pretty low around 20%
Maintenance costs I need to figure out
Insurance costs I need to figure out

Would it be beneficial to put on the corporate name vs. personal name?

Thanks

- Get GST/HST refund
- At the time when you write off your vehicle, if the residual value is less than the loan balance, it will be a company loss.
- Personal use of company vehicle is considered a taxable benefit for the employee.

if you already bought the car under your personal name, if u want it part of the business, the business will have to "buy" it from you and change ownership over, change auto insurance, etc. and then you cant use it for personal use no more. hope that makes sense

If you use a company car for personal driving, there is a standby charge.

I've been told by multiple accountants that unless the car is used 90%+ for business, it is better to own personally and have the company compensate you for driving costs.

Currently, I just have the car in my own name and claim the mileage allowance for all work-related travel.
