Qnap ts212 2 bay NAS - $164.99 and lower if PM

For those that are looking for a NAS, this is a great price for the Qnap 2 Bay.

$164.99 on Amazon.. If you want, you can pricematch Futureshop which is selling for $234, for price match difference 110% + additional $10 if you pay with paypal to get it for even lower!!

Please remember to thank if this helps you :)

I've had this exact same NAS for 2 years now. Paid $179 IIRC. If I were to do it again I would get Synology over a Qnap which can be had for around that price a few times a year. Just a personal preference having used both. I find the Syn software more polished and user friendly. No other reason.

That being said good price!

The QNAP NAS is great. I have not compared it to the synology, But it is much better than the Iomega (Emc/Lenovo) Storcenter

Thanks OP and Cas77. I've been holding out for a Synology deal to replace an aging DNS-323, so I think I'll keep waiting.
