Queen's vs UBC for mining?

All things considered which program is better?

They seem quite comparable. Both are strong in mining engineering, geological engineering and geology.

The engineering programs are both accredited, so the curriculum should be very similar. Will largely come down to profs and labs.

Geology, no idea, but I'm guessing its accredited in a similar way too given geoscientists are under the professional engineers umbrella in a lot of provinces.

I think you should ask if you'd rather live in Vancouver or Kingston.

UBC is better, Goldcorp has some direct co-op program with that department.
