I am soo lost and have been given no information from the builder what will be offered and the price list. I literally have 3 hours to determine the future look of my home. I have been very unhappy with the process so far. Could anyone please help me with any info they may have with their decor appointment that took place earlier? I have heard that the 24x24 inch tiles are $16 per square foot versus say home depot at $3.50 a square foot? Do they really mark up the prices that high? thanks for any help really helpful.
We're in the same boat! I've been trying to get a decor option list from Mandy or Gillian before my appointment month end. They said that they'll "attempt to compile a list if they have time" lol. I'll share if I receive anything.

I know that for the kitchen cabinets, the manufacturer is Frendel Kitchens - https://www.frendel.com
Hardwood flooring is from Kentwood - https://kentwoodfloors.com/ca

This should give you an idea, you can view some samples via these websites from the manufacturers.

Take a look at some of my posts earlier in this thread. I dropped some prices for Lakeview decor upgrades.

I was absolutely shocked they didn’t just have a price list of options that could be shared. The process is so difficult and tries to drive last minute rushed decisions.

We had our appointment with Mandy leading. At least she was very organized during the appt and walked us through everything. Although we did not have a long list of upgrades, which I think made things flow easier.

Thank you Yaadman, I will post whatever I can get as well. Their customer service is atrocious. I have not been impressed at all with the lakeview team. I feel the upgrade prices will be incredibly high. How insulting that they would say they would do it if they have time. How hard would it be to take pictures or videos of the items in the decor centre to give clients a sneak peak as to what to expect so they can budget accordingly?

Yeah I was really shocked! It definitely won't be easy to make all the decisions within 3 hours. I remember the prices you posted earlier, unfortunately it varies based on model and size but it's still good for estimates. I'm also anticipating the covid price increases.

Definitely not the "Lakeview Experience" I imagined, they're very difficult and rude at this point. We need to see what our options are with prices before going to the appointment especially since its just one browsing. It's like they want us to make mistakes, so we'll have to pay their $500 admin fee per item to make changes after. Such a money grab.

All builder price are higher for sure. Remember Home Depot price not include labour cost. If you do it your own will affect your warranty.

Yup they do - the way we reason it is that we will have it for a long time and we had allocated funds from our 15k for this.

Thank you soo much Jimmysu, this is very helpful. Are the items at level 3 and 4 good quality or is it just worthwhile to go with level 5 plus? How much was the 5 inch hardwood? Is that level 5? Also the 24X24 kitchen tiles are they level 5? Thank you again

Thanks Ramngu, do you recall seeing any herringbone titles /flooring and hexagon tiles? Did they have more options for sinks?

They sent the sheets with what’s included in each level for all areas this evening. Will load when I have a chance.

I don't recall seeing any herringbone at my appointment but I do remember seeing marble hexagon tiles. I believe the tile supplier is https://www.olympiatile.com/. They had more options for sinks as well as faucets but we figured it can be changed after closing for 1/4 of the cost

I went with mostly level 3 stuff and it’s not bad.
Yes 5” hardwood is level 4.

Here are prices for porcelain tiles that I got from Mandy.

Carrara X Series 12x24” Level 5 for whole house (Foyer, Mudroom, Kitchen & Breakfast
$5,616.00, all three bathrooms $3,039.00 floors only).

Carrara X Series 24x24” Level 8 for whole house (Foyer, Mudroom, Kitchen & Breakfast
$8,892.00, all three bathrooms $4,811.00 floors only).

Carrara X Series 24x48” Level 9 for whole house (Foyer, Mudroom, Kitchen & Breakfast
$9,828.00, all three bathrooms $5,318.00 floors only).

Ps I included a pic of 9.5” level 5 hardwood. Cost $20,000 LOL
