Question about goodlife fitness and putting membership on hold

Has anyone of you done this? I'm pretty new to goodlife and I don't use it to much, but starting January I'm going to be going away for school for 4 months and will not be able to use the gym at all. Will they allow me to put my membership on hold for 4 months, I've read online and it says I will be charged 10$ a month for putting it on hold. Also If it matters I'm not on any type of contract. And I do not want to cancel because I pay 30$ flat a month.
😎Thanks RFD😎

I just got a membership today, they told me you can put upto 6 months for a year. If it's a medical reason will be 0$/mon, if other reasons will be 10$/mon

Thanks. called them up and put my account on hold. going to school up north for 4 months so will be useless to have the member ship without using it.
