Question about payroll

I work full time at a company and my salary is more than max yearly pensionable. Now, if I get salary at another company at the same time (my own), do I need to do CPP deductions and contributions? If I do, then at the end of the year I (personally) will get my excess CPP contributions back, but what about employer's portion? Is it gone?

Correct on both points. You double-pay, but get it back. The companies do not get back their portion. Yes, that's a bit of an unfair win for the government.
