Does anyone know exactly how Dell is going to issue the cancellation credit? Let's say you get a cancellation credit for $100 or $150, does Dell retract previous payment and issue another one with $100/$150 off, or just post another $100/150 into your account without modifying the previous one?

Got the 10% Rakuten rebates
Got 2% Brim credit card cash back
Got 3% Dell advantage in points

So many bonuses!
Was that better then using the 10% sign up bonus instead of the 50 off?

Depends what you are doing with it. Gaming the CPU isnt going to make much of a difference and to upgrade ssd would be cheaper to do it yourself. I'd go 4600h to save some cash, but if 230 isn't much to you definitely go with 4800.

I'm waiting for an email from them today to see if my stacked perk and rakuten is going through since that'll definitely be the best discount. I'll post when I get an answer. If you don't want the headache or have to worry then yes rakuten is the best discount

I don't do any gaming at all. Looking to buy a desktop so I can edit family videos (1080p max, I don't have 4k camera...yet). Would the Lenovo Legion be a better option (15% cash back), vs the Dell G5 (10%)? Not knowing much about computers, I guess I'll be fine with last years 10th gen Intel i7, 16GB RAM, SSD, and 6GB GPU?

Looking for your thoughts.

Thank you!

I would say yes but YMMV. Use the chrome extension to activate Rakuten and place your order. Btw they raised the price for the 4800h/2060 version but you can easily remove their promo code and use the following LEGIONAMD20. Final price should be $1389.99 plus taxes.

If you have a business, a Lenovo SMB account will save you another $40 or so over the regular site. Not as good as Perkopolis, but more likely to qualify for Rakuten.

I ordered a laptop from Lenovo and the cashback showed up 5 hours later. My experience with other sites was that it would sometimes take a day though before it would show.

Click the link below. Copy and paste the passcode Perkp0p0l1$
https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/perkopolis ... Gatekeeper

And use eCoupon LEGIONAMD20 for the 4800h/2060 version
I suggest you to install the Rakuten extension on Google Chrome. 15% cashback is a huge bonus if it works.

For Dell, it took me 4 hours to get my Rakuten "Cha Ching!" email notification after my Dell "Order is being processed" email.

Party is over:
  • 2% Dell cash back
  • 6% Lenovo cash back
Moving thread to Expired Hot Deals. Peeps can keep their conversations going over there as well. I guess most people would like to hear stories about stacking Perkopolis, Rakuten Canada, Rakuten USA, UniDays, Dell Coupon Codes and "goodwill/courtesy" discounts due to delays and whatnot.

Tech hints/support and user feedback can be discussed in the Electronics Discussion Forum (An owner of a particular hardware might start a thread about it if none exists).
