Rakuten Cashback for Dell, 8%

I ordered the new Inspiron 15 a few days ago, but haven't gotten it yet. Can I still claim Rakuten?

You can call Dell to tell them you intend to cancel that order and re-order to get more cashback. Dell probably will offer you some credit if you agree to keep that order.

unless it says ready to ship, even a basic model with a 1660super isn't deliverable until Oct 5th!

Mine expired this morning just hours before I was going to place an order and customer support was no help at all after an hour on the chat and then phone!

Don't even bother. I ordered multiple monitors in April/May of this year and have yet to receive my cashback. Rakuten CS says they are waiting to hear from Dell. I even sent them proof of purchase but to no avail. same old script "We value your patience" It can take up to 45 business days. Well its more than that now but no cash back as yet. Just wanted others to know about this

I was offered $40 from Dell customer service if I kept my order.

I ordered a desktop from Dell in mid July and still have not received the cashback. I contacted Rakuten, and they said it may take up to 45 days for Dell to provide them with the sales info.

I also contacted Dell, and they are currently looking into it.

Also called and got $50 credit from Dell - which is actually $10 more than I would have got from Rakuten

I ordered a $1549.99 gaming laptop yesterday (more info here). With the 10% Unidays code ($155 off) and 8% Rakuten ($111 cash back, which showed in my account just a few hours after placing the order), it worked out to about $1285 + tax.

I'll also get about $40-45 in Dell rewards which is a nice bonus - though I don't anticipate ordering anything else from Dell in the near future.

Usually takes about 3 months based on past experience.

I agree. It has usually taken me 2 months after the the return period (1 month from shipping or delivery?) for the cash back to show up (3 months total). I have been able to get it for all my purchases made in the past year and in a couple occasions they have given the cash back 2x. It has been a bit nerve racking waiting as some of my purchases were based on the 8% - 14% cash back but I think pestering dell every couple of weeks won’t do any harm. Ask to speak with a manager after a month of two as well as they may be able to ensure you get the cash back

Does that actually work? I had some eBates removed from my account when I returned my computer. They do check for big ticketed items.
