Rally for the Restaurants free $10 top up voucher (with code CHALICE)

Deal Link:
Expiry:
August 31, 2021
Not sure if this was posted already, see pics for details.

Use promo code “CHALICE” for a free $10 voucher. First 25,000 only. If the “2” is crossed off for that restaurant, it means there’s no more vouchers.

Edit: typos

Something I've been confused about every time this Stella website comes up - can these vouchers be used only on buying Stella Artois from that restaurant, or can I buy food with them? I don't really drink much.
Nobody cares which exploitative corporations you give your money to every month. Get that crap out of your signature.

You can buy whatever is on the menu! Ive used the vouchers many times and have not had an issue with using them on food, tip, anything. They're basically gift cards

You get an email that contains both the gift card you paid for, and the "free" top up voucher. They will take both, you pay whatever difference or tell them to keep the rest as a tip.

I did not try to use two "free" vouchers on one bill though.

I have combined 4 vouchers on one order and didnt have a problem but this was at "The Pint - Toronto" last year.
They did give me an issue one time trying to add the tip to the order and using the cards but they figured it out and I didnt have to pay out of pocket other than the gift cards.

ah ok makes sense. i think both are like gift cards, so the restaurant gets paid either way by the issuing company? so dont think it matters if u use two "free" ones on one bill?

Ah, so you need to buy a gift card also to get the free $10 it seems? That should stop abusers.

FYI I'm just going to say, before you buy a card for a specific restaurant make sure they're actually still in business.

On the Manitoba page I noticed that The Black Bird Brasserie is still listed, even though they announced 3 weeks ago they were permanently closing effectively immediately.

E: Also hate to say it but super disappointing to see the vast majority of the restaurants in the Manitoba section are chains. 11 of the 33 options (a full THIRD!!!!!!) are different Smitty's locations...the last thing the investment group that owns Smitty's needs is a bunch of free cash from Stella.

Are specials or certain items excluded from using the $10 on Takeout?

I am confused, I got the $10 voucher but did not ordered the GC. If I go to the restaurant and present the voucher, will I get $10 off? Do I need to purchase a GC to make the voucher eligible?
Thanks!

Did you receive your order confirmation email immediately after ordering? Ordered this morning and haven’t received the order confirmation email yet. Wasn’t sure if the delay was due to it being a stat holiday.

Got 2 but how to use them? Do I have to go to the restaurant or is there a way to order take out?
