Randomized Covid-19 arrival testing (Pearson airport)

Does anyone have any information of what are the odds to be selected for arrival PCR testing?
I am asking because I have recently recovered, and planning to travel soon. But I know that PCR test can come back positive even after a while, so I am worried that if I get selected, will have to quarantine for another 10 days...
Yes, I know that I can do private PCR test beforehand to have a proof of recovery, but I am trying to see what are the chances to get away without it.

FWIW, my wife recently returned from Europe and landed in Montreal and every passenger was "randomly selected" ...

But if you are fully vaccinated, you no longer have to isolate while you are waiting for the result.

This is crazy.. probably they had some suspicion about COVID cases on that plane. I wonder if anything have changed with the new policies.

I am worried because my test will be positive most likely.

If you have a positive PCR test you can enter Canada for 180 days from the date it was taken without retesting.

You mean 2 of 4 in your group? That's a lot...

This was my experience too, about 50% of the people were tested.

Op - if you are concerned just go and get a PCR test now.
