Seems like the croc got caught on bare land, so possibly a disadvantage. Normally they're very stong - wonder if it would've been different if in/near water or something...

You are probably right about the bare land factor. The poor croc could not execute its deadly twist to the extreme. Beside, I think size also matter since this is just a small croc.
