I would take amazing front-firing speakers over bezel-less phone any day. Why are people so obsessed with bezels?
Thinner bezels make the phone smaller. Smaller phones are easier to carry and handle (I.e. reach the screen with smaller fingers). The added bonus is that they're sexier. On TV's it doesn't matter as much but with phones it's a different story. Besides, who doesn't use headphones most of the time on a phone. This isn't a tablet - you're using it while commuting.

All this crap about bezels and weight reminds me of bench racing ... because 9/10 people I see have their phones 'protected' in some absurd looking case anyways.

I really want to buy this to try out but my Pixel 3 has been solid. Also have a XS Max being neglected that I should probably sell..

This would be a serious downgrade from the Pixel and the iPhone.

Razer abandoned the RP1 when the 2 came out. No updates, security patches, etc. Stay away. I loved my RP1, but really dislike the company.

Agreed, seems like an odd choice, I bought one that I plan to use in addition to an XS Max, but certainly not as a replacement.

As a side note, Razer Phone 2 is getting Android 9!

If you put the phone in a case then the bezel-less phone is still smaller...

I like small phones. I have used a large phone and it was not a great experience. I do understand that larger phones are better for media consumption, maps, reading, and everything else that comes with a larger screen. I prioritize one-handed use, pocket-ability, and weight over the benefits that come with a big phone.
Which phone (or phones) are you using now?

S10 has both bezel-less display AND front firing speakers. If you can, why not take both?
