does this make these points a better deal than using it for travel?
I read that buying GC is the least amount of value when it comes to using points.

I remember that one. That was because rewards+ had a 1:100 points exchange rate for the amazon gift cards compared to the usual 1:140, and it stacked with the 20% discount at the time. Now that everything merged into avion rewards under a "tiered" system, and rewards+ holders being in the lowest tier, we won't be seeing something like that again. For this amazon promotion rewards+ holders are only getting a 20% discount, higher tiers get 30%.pizzahutxbox wrote: ↑ The BTS deal was the best rate.. especially for rewards+ .
This one with 30% off for avioners it's like 24,500 pts for a $250 amazon for avion tier
The back to school promo for rewards+ was 18,000 pts for $250 amazon ( $1:72 points)

I'm wondering the same. I pay for my CC, and it says I have a Premium account, but I'm only getting 20% at checkout.

Usually Rewards+ gets the best gold concerning gift cards similar to the last gift card run they had. I cashed in at that point.QuickFingers wrote: ↑ Yeah, confirmed that Rewards+ card holders will have to redeem 14,000 points instead of 9,800 points. Oh wells...
