"you could get up to $1,000 cash back" ...?! Usually these offers detail exactly how much of an investment results in how much cash back, but I couldn't find it following OP's link. Is there any more info available?

Thanks.

Found it at:
https://www.rbcroyalbank.com/nbo/cashback/

There's a table that shows:

Net Transferred Assets (C$) Cash Back (C$)
$25,000-$49,999 $100
$50,000-$99,999 $150
$100,000-$249,999 $200
$250,000-$499,999 $500
Over $500,000 $1,000

I would actually go for this because I believe that RBC has better service than TDW. The problem is that this offer covers transfer out fees of only 1 account. Most households have more considering RRSP, TFSA, Open + others possible. At transfer out fees of $125 per account, the cashback money does not go very far. Typically these would be covered for all accounts. I requested a call from RBC to confirm that all transfer out fees would be covered in conjunction with this offer. After 3 days I have not received a response. I'm beginning to question my assumption of better service.
