Hurry, expires Nov 15th. They do this occasionally but last year it was their BF sale, now they did it early! Thankfully, hopefully it arrives in time to use on BF!!!

I used it for Amazon.ca

Note, you must have an RBC Avion CC for this to be hot :)

If you are close to 100,000 points I'd save it for travel as it is worth $2000 for flight purchase. Wish they'd have this deal for longer then a couple of days as my points are not updated until the 16th.

Anyone know which gift cards give the best return in points?

Thanks in advance!

Targeted? I see some GCs 25%off but not Amazon or wayfair or big brands...

I’ve never seen sales restricted to Avion users before. This is trash. I’m looking to leave RBC ASAP now. Regular gift card redemption = 0.71% earn rate. Sale price is like 0.94% if I recall correctly. Both of which are bad, but now they’re restricting sales to Avion cards. **** RBC.

It's early access for Avion card holders. Pretty sure they will have this same deal later but not restricted.

How can you make it worth $2000 in flight purchases? I'm pretty close to 100,000 pts. Do I book a flight through rbc rewards? Or does it have to be a specific flight to specific destination?

the best return is Air Canada or Hotels.com

10,000 points = $100

But, with this sale, all of the gift cards on sale are close to that ie. Amazon.ca 10,500 points = $100 Amazon.ca

Amazon is more useful for me, so i'm going with Amazon.ca. Sometimes Air Canada/hotels.com goes on sale so that value is incredible. Hotels.com at 20% off is quite the deal

Thanks for the tip! Will definitely put that into consideration if I should get GC's or not!
