It's too bad it doesn't stack with the Visa Rewards+ promo.
Edit: Actually, it does. Not sure why it wasn't stacking at first.

I got my hopes up thinking that the lousy card I got as a student might finally pull through with some sort of value for those points. Looks like it's still just as disappointing as ever... but I do appreciate knowing that those gift cards are a better redemption route than the registered savings options.

Flight if you travel. Using the air travel redemption schedule (which is only for avion points) https://svc.rbcrewards.com/content/site ... works.html you can get a value of around 2 cents per point... However that 2 cents is only if you find a flight that is right at that threashold level. Will be less value if your flight is worth less as it's a fixed point program depending on where the flight is going.
