Is redeeming for travel better than gc even with 20% off though? Considering just paying cash for something from Amazon instead of using my Points from my infinite avion card

For the $10 amazon gc, is it usually 1120 or 1400?

My 1,600 points have been sitting idle for years now so I might as well use it for a $10 gc, no matter how debased it is.

I just saw 2,000 for amazon.ca $25 GC

When you click into redeem gift cards it should show a golden SALE/SOLDE circle in the top right corner of the first 9 cards. The first 9 cards types are indicating they are on sale, and Amazon is the very first one listed.

$25 for 2800 points is the sale redemption rate. without the sale, I believe it's $20 for 2800 points

do they just send it via lettermail? how long does it usually take to receive it?

So is this deal dead now? I'm seeing 2800 points as well
Not dead; a $25 gift card typically costs 3500 points, so 2800 is 20% off.

However, it seems like there was some sort of error earlier in which they were being offered for 2000 points (a 43% discount), but this has since been fixed.

Deal is still active
needed to play around with the # of cards but I made one purchase of 18,000 pts for 9 $25 GCs and another order of 10,000 pts for 5 $25 GCs.

ORDER ORDER ORDER!!

Really hope they don't cancel this!

Not working for me sadly. 2800 points for $25.

I've always had the impression you're better off using the points for travel. Better bang for your points. Any opinions?
