[Real Canadian Superstore] Hot! - Video Game Bin, Variety of Games 50% Off

Not sure if this has been posted or not, I fail at the search when Im looking at something specific, but was at the aurora location last night and their bargain bin game was filled with some proper AAA titles for good prices

I managed to pick up Band Hero for 3$, The witcher 2 silverbox special edition for 2.47 and Doom 3 BFG for 15$(Its not on the xbox live store) comes with Doom 1 and 2 which are regular 5$ on XBL(Currently 2.50 this week) havent seen this game anywhere really

Saw Ryse legendary edition for 15$
Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse edition for 15$ (comes with 4 dlc episodes)
Forza 5 GOTY for 20$
Far Cry Collection (2,3,blood dragon) 10$ x360 and ps3
Halo 4 Collectors edition for 35(for any collectors out there)

Plenty more between 5$-25$

Would say these are decent prices for pretty good games if no one has played them before, or would make decent gifts without coming off as giving a filler gift lol

Or if anyone has missed out on any AAA titles over the last few years with a few oldies in there

Definitely cheaper then eb's prices and at least you get a sealed game

wonder if other RCSS's have something similar, quite surprised where they managed to get all this stock from though especially something like NHL 09 for 3$ which I was tempted to grab just for some extra cheap Gamerscore

UPDATE: Dec 26, 2015

So in pure RFD fashion went there this morning picked up 5 titles for a total of $50 with tax and went straight to eb and got a 100$ gift card and got Tomb Raider and Assassins Creed Syndicate and Unity for just an extra $16

They had a massive bin of ps3/vita/x360 stuff for 50 per cent off earlier in the week at the RCSS Don Mills/Eglinton.

Of course, nothing was labelled when I went, so I really couldn't get a read on what kind of value was in the bin (why say 50 per cent off, and not say 'off of what' is truly beyond me...)

That being said, I did end up getting Resistance for Vita for 7 bucks when I asked for a few prices, so I'd guess there are good prices to be had there.

Yeah these ones were 95% labeled with stickers I haven't seen the RCSS use before for games, and yeah, theres definitely some in there, band hero was fun for one night for that price, still had my old rock band guitar so that was a fun throwback, and would have definetly grabbed more games if I hadn't already played through most

Took like 10 min to go through the pile, but definitely better then their no name pile they had a few weeks ago with games Ive never heard of before lol but if they had 50% off I would have definitely spent like 80$ last night, my wallet is thanking me

Def felt like a pure RFD'er this morning lol Spend 66 get two games, and then get $56 back in credit, so in a way got Syndicate&Unity for "$10"

My RCSS sucks for video games. One half of one side of an aisle, with barely any selection and all behind glass. No bargain bins or anythng.

Yeah it did, no concerns at all.

However, be warned -- the online is deader than dead ...I got lucky one day and got into an online game with 3 other people to finish the platinum. The first 20 attempts or so were just crickets.

Its a promo they have where you trade games worth 8$ up 5 of em

I did evil within ps3&360 worth 14 a pop
Shape Up on xbox one was worth 17 for some reason
Rabbids Invasion xbone and ps4 was worth 10 each
So then it automatically gets bumped up to 20 each
Instead of 3 for 70 its pretty much 5 for 100

Heres a link to whatever games are worth 10 and up

Is there a lot of games in the bin that are listed on the trade in list?

Was thinking of getting Rise Of The Tomb raider digital deluxe but if I can get $100 for $50 I can just get the physical game and get the season pass free

I was just at the Kanata location. Tons of games at the beginning of the aisle. There is no sign indicating there is a sale. They still have the $20 stickers on them but scan in for $5. I picked up 8 Nintendo DS games.

Well scottydoesntknow99 you must of raided the good games cause I spent like a hour going through that mess of a clearance bin. The Newmarket store I couldn't find any bin at all.

These ones were Ryse Sob Of Rome Legendary Edition & Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition which I kept for my self.

The 4 games the guy at EB was shocked on the trade in value as it ended up being $76 so I got the last Tomb Raider and season pass and all I spent was $53. I know there's a Spider-Man 2 and Cabela adventures left in the bin. Had issues with Cabela & Lords Of the fallen scanning and stupid CSR didn't believe me on the 50% off the ticketed price and the ticketed price was already at 50% off (Cabela trade in value is the same price but when scanned with one of the promos it goes to $23 and Lords Of The Fallen goes from $5.xx to $6.xx)

Is this promo still on? It says through to Dec 24, and I called the Scarborough Town Center location and she didn't know.

Is the trade in only limited to the list previously posted as well, as that list seems to be associated to another promo listed on their website.
