there's esrb and ratings on movies for a reason - kids aren't old enough for it. I worked at a video store when i was in university and never rented M rated games to anyone under 17 (even checked id). Used to love the parents that would come in and demand to know why I wouldn't rent Manhunt to their 'mature for thier age' 7 year old. It will be your fault when your kid plays Zombies and stabs a friend in the ear with a screwdriver.

... and now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
its a bad 80's movie that is funny by todays standards, you remember watching gremlins or Indiana jones when you were 6, did you shoot anyone?

If I remember correctly, Indy and Gremlins weren't rated 14A (in Quebec it's 16+), which are roughly the equivalent of a M game.

They were rated PG.

So there's huge difference between what your kids get to see when they're playing a M rated game compared to letting them watch a PG title.

Anyhow, I will probably look into Build-a-Bear, that might be something my 6 year old daughter might get interested into...

There is no CoD4 on PS2.

And for the Socom deal on Monday, will it come with the headset?

I might buy it if it does even if I don't have a PS3, I'm planning to get one soon and I need headset. =P

Edit - Saw the first page, nvm.

According to the EB at Heartland in Mississauga today's deal is PS2 Call of Duty 5, aka World at War new for $9.89. Seems like there might be some confusion from store to store as to which version is on sale.

Pretty sure the EB Games in Whitby (Tauton/Brock) had Rockband AC/DC Pack for PS3 and X-Box 360 for $9.99 at the till as their Doorcrasher.

Would call to double check. Was just wandering around not really paying attention to anything though

If you look at the flyer (on their site) you will see that has/will be the price for that game all month.

I asked about Socom today when I picked up CoD and the girl at EB said it was the one without the headset.

I went to a coworkers place (worked at the same EBGames) and on inquiry, he says Dead Space (PS3) will be 19.89$ sometime next week and that Bioshock (360 + PS3) will be 9.89$ sometime next week. Take this with a grain of salt, but I find my buddy to be fairly trustworthy.
