Not an error. The 532ml size is out of line now, they have shrunk the bottle down to the 431ml/473ml sizes now. So stores would have had to clear out any remaining stock of the 532ml. So the size shrunk and the price pretty much remained the same.

I've been noticing it A LOT more on products now. That's why when something is coming out of line, I will stock up once they get blown out. Like for this Dawn, I picked up about 20 bottles. We had so much of it leftover before the change, at least 20 or so cases (10 units to most Dawn cases). So if you see something marked down, it's likely shrinkflation, and stock up when you can!

Its been happening for much longer than you think. Charging more for less, above and beyond normal price escalation.

Same thing happening in walmart, but it's $1.30 there.

Since most walmart seems to had miscounted them. The people who counted stock seems to had counted the new stock(smaller bottle) with the old stock due to how similar they look.

It's $1.30 for all the old dawn 532ml bottles, doesn't matter if it's apple/orange/lemon/blue rain, same goes for the Dawn Ultra Platinum 4x 479ml bottle

Just scour the shelves and if you see a 532ml bottle or a 479ml bottle, pick it up and scan the price to see.

I did do it briefly, but unfortunately, it will become a little more difficult for me now. Since it is not my department that handles the relining of shelves, I was close friends with the Night SAP person, but she is leaving. She would always give me the heads up regarding changes coming up, but I am not sure who the new person will be, or if they will care to tell us when changes are being made.

I will sometimes have an idea if a change is coming up based on what comes in on our orders each night, but it isn't an exact science for Night Replenishment to figure out, SAP knows best...

Funny, but I remember when cans of pop went from 284ml to the current 355ml for the same price. A rarity that you get more for the same price!
