Bonus 7,500 Optimum points when purchasing every $50 worth of Netflix or The Keg Gift Card from RCSS from May 10-16. Not the best deal at only 15% but not bad.

Posted as YMMV as not confirmed if it’s nationwide deal, but I went to 2 RCSS locations in Greater Vancouver and both had this promo running.

Also, I DID NOT get charged taxes on the Netflix gift cards purchased. I saw on another post that taxes were being charged on Netflix gift cards at SDM. Receipt below to proof.

If Shoppers has the 20x the points on $50 spend or more in-store, does that mean

with PC Mastercard World Elite
$50 x 45 pnts/$ = 2,250 x 20multiplier = 45,000 points?

You don't get 20x the points on gift card purchases. You'd just get your base 3x the points for the world elite and the 45 points per dollar base that you get from shoppers

I didn't think Shoppers even gave you base points on gift card puchases historically (other than SDM gift cards). When did they start doing that for non SDM gift cards? Was it with the conversion over to PC Optimum?
