Someone from Ontario downvoted this because it's $55.99 at the LCBO for a bottle less than half the size

This is fair. If you live in Alberta you do need lots of booze to cope.

I dunno, I visited cowtown this summer by way of Banff and Jasper. Call me crazy, but if you need booze to make those sights and nature better, you might be better served by getting a pair of glasses.

Then again, humour is a hard thing to read on the internet...

Edmonton is pretty depressing. Tried to relocate there but had to get out for my sanity after 8 months. Everything is extremely gloomy and it feels not alive. At least Vancouver was green and lively although it does get expensive. I get why Edmontonions call it "Deadmonton". The sun burns everything in the summer and the harsh winters do not make your life enjoyable. I think I will eventually move to the Okanagan region of BC.

FYI $111 at the LCBO for the same bottle without the 50ml bonus.

Everyone in the store was getting the Chivas including one pro RFDer with a cart full haha! (50ml sampler was a Wiser's Old Fashioned cocktail with mine) Also .. 36 Molson Pilsner for $38.98 too .. good for the last decent camping long weekend coping in the Alberta Rockies I'd say Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes

It was a bit tongue in cheek, but at the same time visiting Banff and Jasper for a vacation is not the same as living in a "city" in Alberta.

Anyone ever try the kings cross cream liquor?
I've always assumed it's a crappy baileys knockoff, but for this price I'm thinking of trying. But then I also don't want that much liquid if it's terrible....

What does $1 beer have to do with nearly half price spirits?

Dougie doesn’t seem to be a booze hound.

I haven't tried this particular one, but I've had similar cheap Irish cream offerings from Coop when on sale (Carruthers) and had good luck with those.. indistinguishable really from Bailey's. Making a quality Irish cream for coffee apparently isn't all that complicated so I'd give it a shot

Welcome to the club! $101 at SAQ in Québec. We have a total of 9 bottles left through out the province.
