[Real Canadian Superstore] Bag Avocados $1.94 YMMV Edmonton South location

Just shopped at the superstore Edmonton south and they have the bags of avocado for $1.54. Usually it's $4+ for a bag of 5.

Also 400 points per bag if you have a optimum card (with personal offer for avocados).

From personal experience, the quality of their avacados are pretty poor. Everytime I buy from them, half of them open up with black parts inside showing signs of damage and ends up in the bin. And I've bought from multiple stores before. Much rather pay more at Costco. Larger sized and miles apart when it comes to quality.

Costco avocados are same brand and grow in the same area. They are bigger though. I never had problems at superstore and have been buying them for years.

If the avocados aren't from Mexico then they're not that good.

Maybe it depends where you buy them I get my avocados anywhere in Oakville-Burlington area and never had a problem unless I keep them out too long. Usually leave them on the counter until ripe then use what I need and keep the rest in the fridge for when I need them.
