Probably YMMV but seemed like a good amount of stock this afternoon in Milton.

Remember a few years ago the clearance for that PC ice cream that had candy cane and dark chocolate? That was good, not sure about just candy cane alone though. Anyone had it?

This is the same as the one you are thinking of. If you look carefully it says “Chocolate Fudge Crackle” under “Candy Cane” in the picture.
Saving a fortune is not the same as having a fortune, unfortunately.

This is the best candy cane ice cream out there (aside of some obsurdly priced boutique on doubt). Simply delicious.

It feels like RCSS had far more deals than Walmart this year. Walmart was trying to scam their Christmas chocolate for 10% off.

Not worth its own thread — but all the Christmas wrap is a good price. I just got a couple of megarolls for $1.44.

I think you're right about Candy Cane not being on clearance for years now... Meaning at $0.94 it's a hot deal, regardless of the ATL of $0.50. Up voting OP!

Just the other day when I was at RCSS, I noticed a bunch of clearance items at the entrance. I didn't really pay much attention but they were selling wrapping paper, etc. I recall buying a few case of large Kisko freezes (box of 40) for $0.94 two falls ago. They had two skid loads of it.

I prefer shopping at RCSS since they are local and Canadian compared to Walmart (rarely shop there).

Was at the Peterborough RCSS last Thursday and they had the same Candy Cane ice cream discounted to $2.99 and I thought that was a decent price since I haven't seen it on sale for years. Under a buck is a no-brainer! I may have to go back and see if they discounted further....like my waist line needed it. ;)

I recently bought some full price feta cheese from superstore that tasted off. I checked the dates and it was 2 years old.

I'm assuming these ice cream tubs were probably made in 1996.

Went to the Don Mills and Eglinton location. Candy Cane was 2.99 and Peppermint Hot Chocolate was $2.00, about 30-40 left.

What I noticed was for the Candy Cane the first ingredient is Cream while the Peppermint it was the third, made it less appealing to buy for me.
