[Real Canadian Superstore] Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries - Price Match at HD!

Superstore has their Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries on sale, ending today. They sell a few different sizes/formats, but I was most interested in the AA. I was able to get Home Depot to match and beat this price by 10%, making it a savings of 46% vs Walmart, the lowest price I could find anywhere else!

Don't these go on sale often at no frills? 4 AA for $2 or 2 AAA for $2?

I think you're thinking of the standard Energizer Max. These are a significantly higher quality battery and I've never seen a price this low.

Just did a quick RFD search.

The lithium does go on sale at no frills the past two years during August months. About $2.80 for 4.

Max goes on sale more frequent.

Nothing I hate more than buying something before it goes on sale. I had to buy a pack of these last week... Good find!

16 AA for 9.49 for the upcoming flyer at Rona in ont. Not sure if this max one is better. Costco seem to sell 48 for 13.99, anyone used them and have thoughts?

Yes, I don't have a time machine.

Costco had these on discount earlier this year(?) $15.99 for 20AA. Haven't seen these on discount since I bought them.

Good price for LITHIUM batteries. I had to bold that word as people on here don't seem to know the difference between these vs the cheaper Max ones

Last time I purchased this was about $10 at Walmart some time ago.

Actually Costco Scarborough has them on sale right now. AAA’s and AA’s. I picked up a pack of each this morning. They are going for $14.99

In a nutshell, these are Lithiums (not rechargeable), not the more common Alkaline type. Compared to Alkaline, they work in very cold temperature, will store for a decade or two, last longer, and very importantly, won't leak in the device over time

Use these in outdoor devices, or devices where you store for a long time (flashlights)

I use almost nothing but litihum batteries, they last longer in many devices and they don't leak so much like alkalines do.

Its weird how people dont know anything about different types of batteries, there are really only 3 popular types. Its not like you cant just google them on your phone...

true. but most people also confuse these with Lithium-Ions, which could be a serious error (trying to charge them). I bet it keeps the Energizer lawyers awake at night
