[Real Canadian Superstore] Farmers Market Pie + Breyers Ice Cream = $8.98 (after PM + Coupon) & collect 3000 PCOptimum points

Time for some more RFD Magic!

Last week I posted a pretty hot deal that required price matching, coupons, and PCOptimum Points to get Magnum Ice Cream Bars for $1 - $2 depending on the coupon used.

This deal is only good for Thursday Oct. 3rd until Friday Oct. 4th UNLESS anyone can find one of these items in a flyer, elsewhere. Continue reading why...

UPDATE: coachclst reports that Fortinos has the Breyers in their weekly flyer for $3.99 so this may be extended to Oct. 9th if you can price match at your local RCSS.

Real Canadian Superstore has a 3,000 PCOptumum Point offer when you buy 1 Farmers Market Pie (apple or pumpkin) AND 1 Breyers Creamery Style Ice Cream. (see page 4 ish)

Now, it does not list store prices for either of these so you may find the best deal in-store. But if you want to arrive ready to create some RFD Magic, follow this...

Loblaws has both pies listed in their new flyer (Oct. 3-9) for $5.99 (see page 9 ish)
Shoppers Drug Mart has the Breyers Ice Cream in THIS/LAST WEEK'S flyer (ENDING Friday Oct. 4th) for $3.99 (see page 8 ish)
Fortinos has the Breyers Ice Cream in THIS WEEK'S Flyer (Ending Oct. 9th) for $3.99

So price match both pie and ice cream PLUS grab the following $1 coupon for the Bryers Ice Cream here: https://websaver.ca/en_ca/coupons/
Make sure you get the Breyers Creamery Style coupon as there is another one for Non-Dairy.

So $9.98 for Pie and Ice Cream, less $1 in coupon, and 3,000 PCOptimum Points in return makes this work out to $5.98

BINGO BANGO RFD Magic!

NOTE: if anyone can find the Breyers Creamery Style Ice Cream in a local sales flyer that ends Oct. 9th please post it here but your local RCSS may not honour something that isn't on their list of stores. I have seen the Ice Cream listed in the new Longos flyer (ending Oct. 8th) but for $4.99 so some may find this worthwhile.

Thanks, OP!

In my PC Optimum account, I also have an offer starting tomorrow for "800 pts for every $4 spent on Farmer's Market Sweet Pies" and I saved the "400 pts for every $2 spent on Breyers Ice Cream or Frozen Desserts" offer I had this week so I can use it next week. :)

Wrong, the creamery stuff is real ice cream, not frozen dessert.

I'm half asleep but wouldn't it be 9.98 minus the $1 coupon and the 3000 points bring it down to $5.98?

The Blue box ones are labeled as frozen dessert.

The BLACK box ones are labelled as ice cream.

Something to do with fat content.

I do remember reading something about Breyers and other companies using imported cream or some major ingredient from New Zealand or somewhere. There are Canadian ice cream makers who use Canadian milk/cream like Chapmans.

No more ice cream please. Between the Magnum bars at RCSS and Ben & Jerry deal at Shoppers, we have too much ice cream to eat now, but thanks OP for the post.

OK - where in the SDM flyer is the ice cream? I have looked on page 8 (at least what I think is pg 8 in flipp) but I don't see it.
What else is on the page?
Maybe my local flyer doesn't have it?
No luck with the search option either.

Shoppers Drug Mart has the Breyers Ice Cream in THIS/LAST WEEK'S flyer (ENDING Friday Oct. 4th) for $3.99 (see page 8 ish)

Top right corner. Along with other frozen foods like other ice cream (Klondike, B&J's) and pizza, etc.

I'm looking at the GTA version so ymmv

I thought RCSS or No Frills will Price Match any LOBLAWS banner store (which includes Shoppers Drug Mart) ..

I could be mistaken though..

Thanks - it wasn't in my local flyer (London) so I had to switch my postal code to M5V 0H7 and then it showed up.

Thanks OP.
The Superstore in Oakville has this deal on special (at the prices you mentioned), without the need to price-match.
The pies are $5.99 (un-advertised special).
Breyers "creamery style" ice cream (black tub, made with real cream) is $3.98 (un-advertised special).
