$25 is $25...but that's not even 10% of $300.

I think Grandpa Simpson once said how “$25 used to be 10% of $300, during three wars back we called Sauerkraut "liberty cabbage" and we called liberty cabbage "super slaw" and back then a suitcase was known as a "Swedish lunchbox." Of course, nobody knew that but me. Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.”

CT has been always clawing back a bit at a time. Soon that $25 will be $20.

Which card do you use? They don't take Amex, do they? So no 5% on Cobalt. Do they take Visa for 4%? Does PC Optimum give points on gift card purchases? So Triangle MC for 3%.

Zehrs has it too but No Frills doesn't.

Depending on what one is buying, it could be more advantageous to purchase it on your CT WE mastercard because of the particular promotion in effect, sometimes item-specific. I bought some garden stuff the other day and got almost 20% back in CT money.

Most of those offers are Triangle offers so you can still get them with just your points card independent of the payment method. You might get an extra 3.6% with the Triangle WE, but this gift card deal is more than 3.6%.

Anyone know if I can purchase Sportchek GC by paying with a CT GC? Would be good if we can double dip.

No. CT does not allow purchasing a GC with a (CT) GC.

Totally. Also right now, purchases on the triangle credit card over 150 dollars qualify for interest free financing over 24 months. I’ve totally been taking advantage of that.
