[Real Canadian Superstore] Haier 65UF2505 65" 4k TV for $337 (YMMV!)

Picked one up from the North Oshawa location on Wednesday. I believe they had one other in stock at the time. Not sure if this is the price at all locations or just this store, so YMMV.

Edit: added receipt

Hmmmm, I've got a bunch of PC points and could use a TV. How are these ones? Are they half decent?

Also, if you get a dud is Superstore tough to deal with? I've heard Shoppers can be painful for electronics.

All I know is 30 days for return or 1 year manufacturer warranty. I believe there are other threads that can speak to the quality of this TV.

Use a credit card which doubles the manufacturers warranty to two years and you are good to go

I know LOL. I'd been planning on spending maybe $600-$800 on a quality 4K tv with HDR, but I'm starting to think if I can get this at this price, even if the panel isn't amazing I might be okay living with it lol. Could dump my points and get a 65" tv for like $70 out of pocket

OMG this would be perfect for my basement since I'm looking for a cheap big screen TV because of the distance.

Hard to justify going all the way to Oshawa when it was Wednesday when OP saw only 1 left :(

If anyone finds this elsewhere please let me know!!!

So when I looked at the 50" panel for reviews and stuff, they said it had no smart connectivity (not a big deal with a cheap chromecast or other plug in) and the 4k is not true UHD/HDR whatever. But.. 65"'s replacing a 37" 1080p... i mean.. still worth?

If your 37" 1080p TV is really old, and it wasn't a nice TV to begin with, then this TV will be a big upgrade. The quality and reliability of this TV is pretty poor, but the price is right!

Personally I'd spend another couple hundred bucks and get a nicer TV (RFD has deals on the Hisense TVs which are better than this, though still not 'good' TVs). Most people use their TVs a lot, so it makes sense to splurge.

There were a handful province-wide.

Good price, even for a Haier.
