Yup it's pretty bad, definitely not worth it at this price. Any smaller chinese supermarket chain has the exact same lobsters for $7 a pound every single day, and they go up to 2 pounds

Chinese Supermarkets in Markham and Scarborough has lobsters daily around $6.99/lb to $7.99/lb and I've even seen them on sale for $5.99/lb

20% yield roughly.
This is why I usually buy a 5lb lobster so I can actually get some meat from it.
Either that or the sack of claws which is also a pretty good deal.

Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

Costco doesn't have whole lobsters.
Only frozen tails and previously frozen tails and claws during road shows.

That's the point. I don't want others buying up my supply.
It's like $10/lb but you get far more yield.

How does Atlantic taste compared to Caribbean? Any difference?

By the way, how do they take out the lobster and kill it and package it at the grocery store? never seen them do it lol.

Atlantic > Carribbean by a mile to me.
Atlantic is sweeter and larger.

They don't kill it.
They usually just stuff it in a bag and give it to you.

Does this still exist? Tried going a couple years ago and it wasn't available, called a few months ago and was told no lobster.
